Seminary and Runaway Investigators

May 11, 2015

Hi everybody!
This has been a good week. On Tuesday and Wednesday we taught in all the seminary classes. That was fun, and exhausting. And then we got to go do missionary work after that so we were even more tired (and we're always tired anyway)! But it was good. We taught about how the youth can be good member missionaries. Hopefully what we taught will stick!
One of our new investigators ran away. He was in an addiction recovery center, and I guess one night he had some buddies get him out and he ran away. So I guess we won't be teaching him again. We found another new investigator this week, and we actually taught him three lessons just this week, but he was just living with his grandparents in Mount Pleasant for a little while, and he went back to Salt Lake with his mom yesterday. His mom will get it arranged with the missionaries up there to finish his lessons, and we will reassign him in our digital records. So yeah, two investigators sort of sort of ran away on us.
As for the other people we're teaching, that is going really well. Two of them are on date, one is getting baptized this week, and two more will probably be on date after this week. Hopefully we can get a lot of new people to teach as well.
Yesterday was Mothers Day, so I got to Skype home! It was so cool to see my family again after over three months!
Well, that's all for now. I hope everyone has a great week!
